Paintings in the Post #900 – For Jean
My Mum-in-law, Jean Shedlock turned 83 this week. That needs celebrating.
Happy birthday love and wishes to a special lady!
She is fortunately fit and healthy but has had to have shoulder surgery recently. This meant that due to Covid restrictions we have been unable see her, unable to celebrate, give birthday hugs or even tell her how much we love and appreciate her! Damn….
But we did mask up and drop flowers off with a very kind and sympathetic security guard who promised to make sure they would reach her. I hope they did. So her favourite pink roses this week placed into a delft vase that I think she would have chosen and painted with love to celebrate her. My love language is and always will be… FLOWERS!
P.S. Paintings in the Post started in 2014 although back then it was as a daily practice. Today marks 900 of these little postcard size paintings that now live in countries all over the world. I’m grateful!
